Week 4: Meet our persona

Hi !

This week we had continued the process. Although we had a variety of dilemmas in what the main problem was that we wanted to solve, we realized that we needed to focus on one need. Which means we had to give up the rest that still exists. We had difficulty deciding the primary need, so we conducted more interviews with experts and end-users to refine their needs and improve our research.

We realized who our primary target audience is. We did this through an overall view of the end-user interviews we conducted and averaged all the interviewees. We looked at the geographical and demographic details of the women interviewed. That ultimately led to a persona that helped us to a comprehensive understanding of the needs that we need to focus on.

Also, we looked at how women today deal with the problem, what alternatives are currently being offered, and what platforms they use. All this is to check the issue we are focusing on is necessary for a solution or whether the answer to it today is satisfactory to the user.

Meet our persona

This is Jenny; she is 28 years old, lives in Ramat Gan with her husband Yogev and their dog Hockey. She's working from home as a graphic designer. Her husband Yogev serves in the regular service of the Israel Defense Forces and gets back home very late every day. Jenny is pregnant for the first time. Right now, she's in her third month. The pregnancy is planned, and they are the first couple about to become parents among their friends and families. Jenny likes to do sports, go out with friends to restaurants, and travel. In fact, from an early age, she had a healthy lifestyle again. And the physical changes that accompany pregnancy frighten her. Jenny is an only child. She needs to be the center of attention. The thought of being a mom stresses her out, and she does not know how to prepare for motherhood and is maybe even a little scared to ask.

Here we are trying to think about the right how might we question

As a team that meets every week, we feel like a kind of little family, and this week one of us- Eitan, got into Microsoft as a software engineer. We were so happy to hear the news, and we decided to celebrate that with sweets.
